HUFFINGTON POST

When #SOYEAHDUH went live last month, it wasn’t long before the Chicago-centric Tumblr blog, which riffs on city life through the use of animated .gifs, to rack up the likes, reblogs and speculation: Who was the wizard behind the curtain?

Wonder no further, Chicago: Lisa Frame, the woman behind the anonymous .gifs, has graciously granted her exclusive reveal interview to us here at HuffPost.

Frame, a 28-year-old digital strategist, producer and founder of the social networking site Mugshot-Monday.com, has called Chicago home for the past 10 years and lived in the city’s Wicker Park neighborhood for the last eight — which explains her adept takes on certain neighborhood hotspots and favoring of a particular CTA train line.

Lisa Frame calls her SoYeahDuh Tumblr “the dumbest blog ever.”  But apparently a good dose of dumb can go a long way.

Frame, a digital director and consultant, initially launched her Tumblr in mid-May as an homage to the  other .gif blogs out there, and the premise is simple — the animated .gif files describe her every day Chicago experiences, mainly in the Wicker Park, Logan Square and River North neighborhoods and covers everything from dating, to restaurants to inside jokes that only Chicagoans would get.
